Noise 3.5 The rarest of them all.
Noise 3.5 came about when we decided to open a studio in Sydney to tie in with the 2000 Olympics. We wanted an "opening ceremony" as well, so we needed to produce something fresh and representative of the period. At the time, we couldn’t create a full-scale hard-backed book on the level of previous Noise books. We went back to the BOB/Noise 1 format, reducing the page count, but increasing the page size. We still tried to get a few print
tricks in there, without being overly elaborate. It was, after all, intended to be a commercial piece with the primary goal of generating business down under. 3.5 is probably the rarest Noise book out there. We only printed a few copies and never really sought to place them in bookstores. Instead, they were presented to people by hand as a way of introducing ATTIK. Today they are a collector’s item. Published in 1999.
