Lexus CT 200h A Darker Side of Lexus.
Hybrids cars are typically associated with sunshine, rainbows, and happy blue skies. With their new premium entry-level vehicle, Lexus is redefining this convention. Featuring ‘beefed-up’ styling and a more exciting driving experience, the CT 200h allows drivers to go hybrid without going hippie. Ahead of the vehicle's launch in early 2011, ATTIK developed a theme for pre-launch activities that epitomizes the CT 200h's unique characteristics – ‘The Darker Side of Green'.
Campaign elements created by ATTIK included a campaign logo, imagery style and color palette. ATTIK designed and produced a microsite for the campaign, which features a product showcase area, event information and imagery, sweepstakes and an interactive movie created by Lexus. The website launch coincided with the official U.S. unveiling of the vehicle at the New York Auto Show in April 2010. The Darker Side of Green theme inspired Lexus to hold an environmental debate ahead of the Auto Show hosted by Sarah Silverman.
