• Free Realms Launching a Whole New World.

    Sony Online Entertainment is a leading developer of massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPG). Sony's new game Free Realms brings a new gaming model to the online space. By giving kids free access to an amazing, high quality gaming experience, Free Realms is fun for everyone. It's a totally immersive way to game, hang with friends, have adventures, and above all be entertained. The challenge for ATTIK was to develop a visual identity that expressed this world of fun and freedom, and a launch advertising campaign that created awareness and ultimately brought players to the game.

    Targeting 10-14 year old boys and girls, the identity and advertising needed to be vibrant and fun, with a 'hip' edge, reflecting the production values of the game itself. The identity needed to stand out from the plethora of online games already available to kids. The launch advertising campaign focused on the central theme; 'freedom to be who you want to be.' ATTIK developed a complete visual system, providing Sony with comprehensive brand guidelines and a variety of templates for print and motion applications. The launch advertising campaign consisted of two 30-second TV spots that combined live action with animation, plus four rich media online executions.
