
Coca-Cola Ramadan 2008
The Spirit of RamadanIn support of the annual Ramadan period for 2008, we were appointed by Coke Istanbul to create a Visual Identity System (VIS). It was important to translate the emotions that surround Ramadan into a visual expression that fuses the brand’s heritage with contemporary execution. The core creative image was constructed from a range of iconic elements. These visual components symbolized the Ramadan occasion of celebration, togetherness and acceptance. This was represented by fireworks, dark night skies and bursts of activity radiating around the iconic Coke bottle.
The VIS was utilized across Turkey, the Middle East (Saudi, UAE, Bahrain, Oman), Pakistan, Indonesia, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Maldives and Egypt, and was featured across all packaging, POS and OOH.
