Coke has many domestic African football programs during 2009 in the lead up to the FIFA World Cup in June 2010. Copa Coca-Cola grassroots football project spans all the ay from high-school games to pan-Africa youth football camp and is linked to Confed Cup in June 2009.
A specific Visual Identity System (VIS) that communicated the brand’s values and the spirit of competition was required to have it's own identity but link strongly into the World Cup 2010 VIS. Application of the identity will be seen across al premium and special limited edition packaging, POS, OOH, merchandise give-aways, online as well as motion graphics for TV sports channels in Africa.
