
Coca-Cola Christmas
The Gift of GivingChristmas is always a magical period in the calendar. Over many decades Coca-Cola has been synonymous with creating powerful and memorable Christmas campaigns over many decades. In 2007 we were appointed to create a Visual Identity System (VIS) for Coke’s European Christmas campaign to communicate the core idea; ‘The Gift of Giving’ to an audience demographic of 12–112 year olds.
Our creative goal was to capture the emotions and feelings that surround Christmas and translate them into a visual expression that fused Coke’s long Christmas heritage with contemporary execution techniques that worked across the entire trademark, including Diet Coke/Coke Light and Coke Zero. The VIS was implemented by all EU markets as well as by certain Asian markets, which also saw benefits in using this VIS.
