• Boost Mobile Rebrand
    Elevating without alienating.

    Boost Mobile asked us to develop a new visual identity system that would allow the brand to speak to a much bigger audience without walking away from its irreverent tone. As a youth brand offering primarily push-to-talk mobile phone service, Boost had evolved into a brand that spoke to either the "hip-hop" or "surf/skate" crowd. With the addition of unlimited service, Boost recognized the need to elevate the brand visually to speak to a broader audience.

    While speaking to a young and edgy audience, our goal was to create a system that would provide a flexible architecture for a wide variety of communications that would be sustainable over a long period of time. The result was an evolved logo, a distinct color palette and unique, custom typography and a multimedia end tag. Communication templates support irreverent messaging with dark and edgy hero shots that celebrate the individuality of Boost users. The new brand ID system is running nationwide.
